BATTLE RULES
T1 MP | T1 Moderate Powers.
This is the Style that is commonly used now as a more realistic look towards T1 PC. The characters that have special powers, just not ones that have a power that is capableof destroying an entire planet. Powers such as elemental abilities are acceptable, but if there is a power that is capable of using all elements you must keep that power in a moderate use.
RULES
ONE As you have a character bio, it is not necessary to state every single item or ability you have at the start of a match. If everything in you bio is currently being carried by your character, simply state [All Items In Bio]. If you are only carrying certain things, then you MUST list what those things are. Once you've done so, you cannot go back and change this. This is done on your intro post. Everything that you have in your intro post is what you have for the remainder of the thread.
TWO Your Character Rank/Tier/XP and abilities are EXACTLY what they are at the time/date that you start a particular battle thread. If you get a profile upgrade during the course of a battle, or rank up, it does not come into effect suddenly in the middle of a battle.
THREE T1ing is a competition against two different skills. The first to out smart, and out match their opponent is the winner. However, your character is not invincible. You are not allowed to auto-attack an opponent; YOU do not decide the damage that your opponent takes from your attacks, THEY do. The only exception to this is a Critical Hit.
FOUR A Critical Hit is when you are allowed to decide the amount of damage your attack does to your opponent. The only time this is allowed is if your opponent ignores/overlooks a part of your attack, or in some way fails to address something that you have done in your post that would cause them damage. Of course, when describing your Critical Hit, be reasonable. If your opponent overlooks you tripping them, for instance, do not say that by tripping them, you caused their body to explode.
FIVE Correct spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and over all quality of your posts is also a serious means to gaining a win. Run-on sentences and poor explanations about your character or anything of the sort, you are subject to a battle mod simply not knowing what the hell you are trying to say. Difficult language, the misuse of words/grammar intentionally done to confuse not just the opponent, but anyone with a competent grasp of the english language, is a no-no. This does not make you sound educated, it makes you sound like an idiot. The more effort you put into your characters’ posts the better and smoother the fight will go.
Example: Incarnadine, mine ocular progress 'pon traversed dermal chassis of the opponents leftward visage, framing videlicit strikes 'round arcuate ebon blah blah blah
^^THAT, is really damn annoying. You decide to do it anyway, don't be surprised if a battle mod votes you dead for posting nonsense.

SYSTEMS
Many roleplay sites involve a number of different Systems in order to govern player's conduct in battle On SCS, though we generally adhere to the T1 Battle System briefly outlined above, there is no set system regarding number of character movements per round/amount of seconds per round, etc. We do however have two important systems in place to attempt to make the experience of Roleplay Battling a little more sensible, open, and fun. You are allowed to attack/defend as many times as would be reasonably possible for your character, in accordance with their type, masteries, competency, and tier. The usage of the Honor System is meant to be the biggest advantage to this type of roleplaying.
SYSTEM OF CONSERVATION
In order to understand the amount of stamina/energy characters have and are able to use per thread, the System of Conservation comes into play. In essence; a characters total XP + 50% represents their stamina pool as well as their overall energy pool. What does this mean? If you are a Very Weak character with an XP total of 1,000, you are able to use 1,500 XP worth of attacks in a single thread, before running out of stamina/energy. Academy Techniques/Automatic Techniques/Techniques that did not/do not cost XP in order to achieve, do not count towards this total. For each power tier beyond Weak that a character reaches, their overall stamina/energy increases by an additional 10% (i.e., a Superior character with an XP total of 64,000 XP is able to use 128,000 XP worth of attacks!). Repeat usage of an attack adds to the use of the characters stamina/energy. Once a character has run out of stamina/energy, they are no longer able to utilize any techniques.
SYSTEM OF EQUIVALENCY
Movements/Time Frame of battle is largely governed by the length of your opponents posts. Neither combatant in a battle may post their actions occurring over the span of less than 5 seconds per turn. Turns overlap, with the first and second turn (and subsequent turns in the same manner) occurring simultaneously.
If an opponent posts their actions occurring over the course of 10 seconds, you may post as if your actions occurred over the course of 10 seconds as well. If an opponent posts their actions occurring over the course of 20 seconds, you may post as if your actions occurred over the course of 20 seconds as well. If your opponent posts their actions occurring over the course of 10 seconds, you may NOT post your actions occurring over the course of 20 seconds, (you cannot exceed the overlapping time frame presented by your opponents last attack) but you may choose to post your actions occurring over the course of less time than your opponent.
Ex. - Player 1's first post occurs over the span of 7 seconds.
Player 2's first post MUST occur over the span of AT LEAST 5 Seconds. Player 2's first post CAN occur over the span of 7 seconds. Player 2's first post CANNOT occur over the span of MORE than 7 Seconds. Player 2's first post OVERLAPS, and thus, occurs at the SAME TIME as Player 1's first post. Any additional seconds/time NOT used, can still effect the outcome of the match, if they have not adequately guarded against attack, or if by posting fewer actions, have not adequately prepared counter-attack to their opponents maneuvers.
- Player 2's first post occurs over the span of 5 seconds, and successfully prevents an attack by Player 1, who utilized 7 seconds.
Player 1, at the start of his next turn, is NOT forced to reduce the timing of his post to Player 2's first post time of 5 Seconds. Player 1 (the first person to attack) controls the overall pace of the battle. Player 1's second post can be as long as they desire. If an attack was performed on Player 2's first turn, this would be the time for Player 1 to explain any defenses they would use, and continue the moving timeline of the battle.

DEATH
Occasionally, characters die; either you are downed during a mission, lose your life during an event, or are killed by another role-player in combat, eventually, this happens to nearly everyone. However, as we are roleplaying within a Bleach universe, there are slight differences in the consequences of death, as opposed to what many may be accustomed to.
- Humans and Quincy, upon death, have the choice of becoming either Shinigami or Hollow. You can choose to simply let your soul move on, and create a new character after that.
- If you are caught staging a death in order to attempt a free revamp/scrap, and your character does not die a legitimate death (as determined by staff), then you will suffer a 25% penalty to your total XP.
- A Revamp allows a character to switch around their allocated XP, while still retaining their character's name and general information. Every RP'er is allowed Three Revamps (Per user, not per account). A revamp does not cause an XP penalty.
- If you wish to kill off a character (you no longer have the muse, don't like them, etc), you may do so. This actions does cause an XP penalty of 5%, as a characters death should be taken seriously. This is considered a 'scrap' where all one must do is simply state their character dying and it will be approved shortly after by a staff member.
- It is possible that a character, after a certain length of time, may become so powerful or a roleplayer may be so skilletd that they conceivably are not able to be killed by another player character/event/mission NPC, or they may have been on the site long enough to have gained a larger number of EXP, and still do not wish to incur a penalty. In the event that this occurs, you will PM either Naitome, Ryu, or Jubei with the word "Wargod", and...well...we will take care of it from there. ;D
